For Parents

Babies don't come with an instruction manual,
and Family Connects Oregon can fill in the gaps.

The first few days and weeks home with a new baby can be a challenging time for all families, and research indicates that more than 90 percent of families can use some additional support. Family Connects Oregon nurses are trained to answer your questions and connect you with the support you need. The program is simple — a registered nurse comes to visit around 3 weeks to check on mom, baby, and the whole family.

There is no cost, and anyone can participate.

You will never receive a bill for a Family Connects Oregon visit.
You may receive an “Explanation of Benefits” from your insurance company. This is not a bill.
If you have questions about billing, please contact your local provider or send an email to oregon.uohv@odhsoha.oregon.gov
